Git is the canonical example for a distributed version control system. Great and vital platforms for the open-source community are built upon git. Furthermore, version control is one of the most important tools in every software engineer's repertoire, yet there does not seem to be an active user group in Berlin. We pledge to meet once a month and exchange interesting thoughts on git workflows, additional tools/helpers, and everything else involving git. It does not matter if you are a seasoned git user or a newbie, who just grew sick of SVN; you are welcome to join us!
