Habitat for Humanity ReStore

Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is a non-profit organization addressing this city’s urgent need for affordable housing. The ReStore is a second-hand retail outlet where quality donated home furnishings, furniture, and building materials are sold to the public at a fraction of the original cost, with all revenue going directly back into Habitat Philadelphia’s Homebuilding and Weatherization & Home Repair Program.

At the ReStore, volunteers help with a variety of things, such as move furniture, organize donations, provide customer service, unload trucks, do small fix-it projects, clean, paint. So there should be something for everyone!

There is a parking lot at the store - they ask that we park as far from the store entrance as possible to keep those spots available for customers.

Is there anyone I can carpool with for Saturday? I live in the suburbs, on the Main Line in Bryn Mawr. I hope to see you Saturday. Let me know--thanks!

Excited to work with Give to Get again. We had an awesome group out last month!! Jennifer-- we can find all different types of projects based on your interest/ability to safely work on them. We can set you up organizing, helping customers, or moving furniture around! Hope you can still make it! Greg

Thanks Greg--that's great to hear!! I can organize or help customers. I will get back to you to confirm whether I can make it-- it depends on whether I can carpool with someone.

Can someone confirm if we'll be cleaning or painting? I can't do either because of a medical condition

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
