I've asked for the room on the right tonight as it worked better than our usual space. I think it'a called The Library.
As I said before I really enjoyed Sum but reading more about Eagleman I suspect his promotion of Possibilianism is more about publicity and book sales than an honest attempt at a more imaginative world view , but you know me, 'show me a cause and I'm against it'

Halfway through Sum: Tales from the Afterlives and already thinking it should be NHS prescribed for religious and atheistic dogmatism! I shall be selling shares in Possibilianism tomorrow evening!!
Alas, I am unable to attend this event. I'm looking forward to the next one though.

Just finished the New Scientist article on possibilism and find it difficult to understand how an intelligent neuroscientist can put his name to such a meaningless concept.
I liked it -- but how does 'possibilian' differ from 'militant agnostic' ("I don't know and you don't either!")? More imaginative? More speculative?
Sorry I mean possibilianism!
I did really enjoy Sum but not so sure about Possibilianism- yet
