Enjoy road cycling and MTB, have done the Etape Caledonia twice and the Trossachs ton. Also do cycle touring and commute to work every day on a bike. Won't make all the rides but it's good to have the option!
Great for fitness and seeing the world from 2 wheels is superb.
Hi Chris, have joined your group. I havn't actually got a mountain bike ATM, but I am looking to purchase one. I was just wondering if there are any available for hire on these meetup trips, plus I am a complete beginner and think that I should come along to a beginner's ride to start with! Could you advise me on this please?
Many thanks Lorraine
Hi Chris, We have recently launched a new cycling magazine called Scottish Cycling. Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible to take up cycling, wether its road or MTB's.
As organiser of Mountain Bike Glasgow, would you mind posting a link to our magazine which is free in print and also digital. Our site is www.scottishcyclingmag.co.uk
I have been a member of this group for a while now, but only managed my first ride a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks in advance if you can do this.
Hi Chris, thanks for the promotion. I've heard lots about you but so far I don't think our paths have managed to cross. Maybe one day ......
Cheers chris looking forward to it.
hi Chris - i've actually joined already, but for some reason MeetUp didn't recognise me on my computer and asked me to rejoin...but thanks anyway...i'll try and delete this new memebership as don't need two ! regards
Hi Chris, thanks for the welcome message! Was hoping to have made the Ben Lomond trip but ended up missing it sadly. Hope to get out with the group soon!
Cheers Chris - I should be in Carron Valley tonight
