Glasgow Technology Network - Ethical Hacking and Counter-measures

How secure is your website really? Would you like to find out how you can find out the vulnerabilities in your website AND close them off?

Can a hacker do an SQL injection? Do you have any open ports? How do you check these things? And better still, how do you close them off?

Network security expert - Robert Ray - will be sharing his knowledge and experience on this topic.

Fantastic presentation. Given the complexity of the various topics, the presentation went really well. Well done Rob. Thanks again to Stow College for being such generous hosts.

Shame about the final payload letting me down in the live demo, but hopefully the idea was enough to get everyone thinking.

Great turn out and excellent discussions which I enjoyed.
