Global Bikes Advanced Cycling Topics by Charlayne

Spend an hour give or take (mostly give) with Global Bike's very own all around bike Guru and bike fitter Charlayne Barger! Charlayne is a masters’ level applied exercise physiologist with 20+ years in the fitness and wellness field as a metabolic specialist, certified strength and conditioning specialist, cycling coach and and has traveled nation-wide as an educator in these disciplines. She is a USAC Category 2 Road, Track and Mountain competitive cyclist and has two boys, ages 4 and 5 who are aspiring BMX racers!

    Here's a few options - How about best nutrition and timing for pre-rides, during and post ride to augment better fitness and good weight. (with consideration given to those with dietary restrictions) Suggested work outs to best build your core for cycling. Cycling techniques for climbing, riding into the wind, breathing...basically, how to be a better and more efficient rider.
