SUMMARY:The Chandler North Saturday Ride ** 6 am **
DESCRIPTION:Global Bikes Meetup\n**NEW START TIME 6:00 AM**\nOur goal will
be everyone ride together and enjoy our little cycling community!\nJoin u
s at Global Bikes\, North Chandler for our intermediate road ride. The B a
nd C groups are no-drop. A group is a drop ride.\n\nThis is not a fast rid
e or an easy beginner ride. This will be fun!\nYou will need a road bike f
or this ride and plenty of hydration.\n\nThe ride will start at the Global
Bikes location in North Chandler and the distance will be roughly 30 to 6
0 miles. Expected ride times are 2 to 3 hours.\n\n**Speeds**\n**A Group**
22 to 25 mph with sprint points around 30 mph (drop ride)\n\n**B Group** 1
9 to 22 mph with sprint points up to 25 mph\n\n**C Group**\, two paces to
 pick from\, 17 to 20 mph or 15 to 18 mph\, with sprint points at 20+ mph\n

oad it on your bike computer or phone before you show up.\n\nIn ear buds a
re discouraged and if thats all you have they are ONLY allowed in the Righ
t side \, for safety we require no one wear in ear buds on the Left side.\
n\n**We will meet at 5:45 am at the shop and begin the ride from the shop
 at 6:00 am**\n\n**A Group ROUTE (47 Miles)**\n[Strava](https://www.strava.
 com/routes/3315112972623016932)\n[Garmin Connect](https://connect.garmin.c
 om/app/course/506769025)\n\n**B Group ROUTE (47 Miles)**\n[Strava](https:/
 /www.strava.com/routes/3315112972623016932)\n[Garmin Connect](https://conn

 \nIf you're an experienced rider\, consider taking on a mentorship role. R
ide next to someone new\, pass down those core skills\, and show that cycl
ing is about community as much as competition.\nLet's revive the tradition
of group riding as a place to learn and grow\, not just to flex fitness o
 r ego.\nWe want to ensure we all learn and teach\n\n* Leading\n* Pulling\n
 * Sweeping\n\nWe will focus on the proper rotating technique.\n\n**Communi
cation** is important so make sure everyone in the group knows what you're
planning to do. Surprises aren't great in a peloton.\nNext time you're on
a group ride\, remember the goal isn't to prove you're the fastest but to
ride with skill\, respect\, and teamwork.\nWhat you will need\n\n* Hydrat
 ion\, Hydration\, Hydration!\n* A road bike\n* Helmet\n* Sunscreen/sunglas
ses\n* Lights are required\n* Roadside repair kit (spare tube\, inflation\
 , & tire levers at a minimum)\n* Nutrition for longer rides\n* Dedication\
n* Warm clothing for appropriate weather conditions\n\nWe will have a pre-
ride safety discussion covering rider safety and the route we will take.\n
Prior to attending\, please make sure your bike is in proper working order
. If you need help getting your bike back to riding condition\, please sto
p by one of our locations. Global Bikes offers several service options to
get your bike ready to ride. Bicycle service can take a few days so please
plan accordingly.\nIf you have read the description and feel that you can
not safely participate in the event\, please wait until you are ready or c
onsider one of our other rides.\n\n**GLOBAL BIKES RIDE WAIVER**\nWhen you
