WEBINAR - No Basis for a Carbon Budget!

  • February 5, 2014 · 7:30 PM
  • Online Meeting

A radical critique of The International Panel for Climate Change Report

David Wasdell of the Apollo-Gaia Project will present this Webinar. David is internationally known and has argued that the all-too-real possibility that the whole earth system is being triggered by anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions into positive feedback and consequent accelerated runaway global heating is much more serious than many believe.

Following on from David’s recent keynote presentation to the annual gathering of the Club of Rome (recording available here:

https://onsync.digitalsamba.com/play/wasdell/14146-cor-dw-keynote )

David will address the (very!) hot potato as to whether, in the light of its extremely conservative treatment of expected temperature response to CO2 emissions, the Summary for Policymakers of the Fifth Assessment Report of the IPCC should be rejected as “not fit for the task of policymaking”.

Have carbon emissions already reach a level where remedial measures offered through the IPCC Report are inadequate and what alternatives are there?

Thank you, that webinar was excellent!

I'm currently founding UnitingforClimate.org , which has the aim of giving visibility to individuals and organisations who are concerned about our climate. And has the aim of uniting all to stand behind a common message to our governments that concrete action needs to be taken for the Paris 2015 climate change negotiations.
If you would like to become part of this, then please let me know and I'll keep you up to date.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
