At the Global Security Challenge (GSC) we are aware that start-ups and researchers are the leaders in security and defence innovation, but it is often difficult for them to break through market barriers and get noticed.
The Global Security Challenge aims to provide support and advice to entrepreneurs in the area of security and defence technology, whilst facilitating new contacts with key industry leaders, government officials and venture capitalists.
The events form part of the fourth annual Global Security Challenge Competition, the leading international competition for security innovators. Each event will include:
- the opportunity to network over drinks with innovators, investors, industry leaders, government officials and the press
- short demos/pitches from a number of pre-selected start-ups and SMEs
- a keynote speech from a leading expert in the field of homeland security and defence
- a discussion forum, with an expert panel, focussed on a key security topic
We welcome all entrepreneurs, researchers, start-ups, investors, students, academics and industry and government personnel, as well as anybody else with an interest in security and defence technologies.
All regional events are free of charge, but places are limited.
Tickets are now on sale for the GSC Security Summit in London, on 13 November 2009. For more information and to book a place, please visit the Global Security Challenge website: http://www.globalsecuritychallenge.com
