Don't miss this major event! AU's Greg Lipper is coming to tell us about AU's legislative prayer case before the US Supreme Court!

The Delaware Valley Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State (DVAU) will meet at the Ethical Society Building on the 1st Wednesday of every other month. Please join us for informational speakers and news about church-state issues in our area.

DVAU will meet on Wednesday December 4th 2013 at 7pm in the Philadelphia Ethical Society Building, 1906 Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia PA, and we are proud to present lawyer Greg Lipper from the Legal Department at Americans United for Separation of Church and State. The title of his talk is “Government, God, and the Town of Greece: The Supreme Court Revisits Legislative Prayer.” AU's legal team represents the two women who launched Town of Greece v. Galloway, the first Supreme Court case in over a decade to consider the limits on government-sponsored prayer. Greg will provide insight into the case, and what to expect next.
