This conference was highly informative, and I thank Draeger's for putting on the event. I loved all the samples, the medical information, the cooking demonstration, and meeting others who may have gluten intolerance. I was also able to learn about the connection to lupus and other serious diseases and pass on the information to people who can benefit. This event did so much good.

Thanks for providing this wonderful opportunity to learn more about eating without gluten! The vendors goodies were all so yummy!
  • Nell
It was a wonderful collection of presentations, tastings, cooking classes - lots of learning and mingling. Great experience! Thank you!

This was great! Excellent speakers. Jackie Mallorca spells out the details that make her recipes so outstanding and tasty. Gotta pay attention to her instructions, and why it's worth spending some money on things like a good measuring scale. Dr. Laura Enfield offered good explanation of how gluten intolerance evolved in humans, and how it affects the body. And the many tasting stations. Delighted to see more dairy-free baked items--Miglet's even had a carrot cake my husband could have with his multiple food allergies. Just had it for dessert and is yummy.

i had a great time learning from an italian mama named jackie, i had to leave early cause my mom needed me, but it sure was a lot of fun!

The sessions I went to were well attended. This was a great, well-organized, delicious event along with wonderful samples in the store. I went home with a bag full of food I hadn't intended on buying like gf cupcakes, bread and crackers. Thank you!

The meeting was very informative and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I was there the entire day and thought it would have been nice to have had a 1 hr break for lunch if possible next time as all of the speakers did run over which i didn't mind it was just hard to get something to eat in between each of their sessions. Thanks to Mary Claire for putting this meeting on. It was my first one and I hope to enjoy many more.

The Meedt-Up presenters were outstanding. The information was very useful and enlightening, even to a 7 yeare veteran such as myself. I would recommend a little more time for breaks between speakers to appreciate all the vendors and be able to roam about the store. I would also recommend that water be available all day, as well as the coffee so graciously offered.

I attended Larry Petersen's, Jackie Mallorca's and Laura Enfield's talks. Larry and Laura were very informative; Larry was more technical/scientific, and Laura was a little easier to comprehend, in everyday language. Jackie had a nice presentation, but disappointing to see her read a script to us. I look forward to the next event to catch the other speakers. There were several gluten-free food vendors providing samples. I was a bit surprised so many had sugary desserts, when we shouldn't eat much sugar. Separately, I wish there was a way to use this Meetup site for RSVP'ing that didn't result in so many Reply All "spams" in my inbox. I don't care what other people are attending. Thank you, and thank you for organizing! I learned a lot.

I attended 3 speakers today. Each one offered something new, interesting and valuable. This was my first time attending and I'm looking forward to the next event already. Thank You!

I attended all but one speaking event and thought it was a great event. Great information was learned and shared and the cookbooks are fabulous! Thank you for putting together a forum like this that is so needed!
