We're here to bring together anyone who programs in the Go programming language, based in or near Pittsburgh, in western Pennsylvania, and welcoming visitors from further afield.

Professional programmers, system administrators, home tinkerers; students, entrepreneurs, retirees.  If you can program, and are doing so at least partly in Go, or just considering Go as an option, you're all welcome.  We'll adapt.

We're currently just getting started, organising our first meeting, so a character has not yet been settled; we're aiming to be inclusive and welcoming to folks interested in Go.  Our plan is for a monthly meeting on a simple "Nth week, weekday D, evening" rule.

Our website has links to all our current resources; currently, the main focus is a mailing-list, with meetup.com to gather more folks and to try out the scheduling and coordination tools.  This may change as our user community develops.
