Mobile Matchup

Register for Mobile Matchup via EventBrite on MTAM's website! Sponsored by MTAM and Bizdom U

Are you a SE Michigan startup seeking a mobile development expert to assist you on a project, as an employee, or even as a partner/cofounder in your startup? Or, are you a mobile developer seeking a unique and highly productive way to get your next project, full-time employment, or maybe even the opportunity to become a partner/cofounder in an existing startup?

We’ve got a great way for both of you to find the perfect match to meet your needs! “Mobile Matchup” is like ‘speed dating’, but instead of finding your next dating opportunity, Bizdom U and the Mobile Technology Association of Michigan (MTAM) are going to help you connect with someone to fulfill your business needs. You’ll meet lots of potential matches in 3-minute conversations (have your elevator pitch ready to take advantage of the time), and then connect afterward in the open networking with those you want to explore in more detail.

Happy hour starts at 6:30pm. Matchup runs from 7:00pm – 8:30pm, followed by open networking. FREE appetizers will be provided by Bizdom and MTAM, and there will be a cash bar with $3 beers and an impressive array of martinis at a great downtown Detroit bar.

Great concept. I would do it again. Attendees obviously did not clearly understand what was being offered because they made requests outside of the stated guidelines. Not the best use of time for them and the Developers. I will pass on info that may come my way with regards to their requests but was not prepared for that.

Crowd was good, conversations were great. Lots of matchups made. Facility was beautiful, but too small for size of crowd that attended. Also very dark and loud; hard to converse.
