The ride : The idea behind this is a short ride before the Summer Dreaming meeting at 4 pm, which some of you are attending. We will be back in plenty of time. If your not signed up for the Summer Dreaming meeting you may have to have your own social, as there is a meeting limit at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse.
it's fun, safe and social. I expect a pace of somewhere in the 12-14 mph vicinity. Pretty comfortable for most folks. Nobody gets dropped, ever.

Weather permitting: We won't ride in freezing temperatures, heavy winds, or sideways rain. However, we will still ride in cool weather with light showers. I'll keep everyone posted as the forecast becomes more reliable.
Start Time – wheels rolling at 1:30 pm – 1:15 pm meet & greet – Call Patricia if running late[masked]-0765. We always leave on time, but will wait a minute or 2 if you've called to say that you're that close.

Rider requirements - Helmets must be worn at all times while riding. This is a requirement and not a request. Always bring plenty of water, snacks for energy, a flat repair kit, including a spare tube, a tool kit, and small pump. This is a daytime ride so working lights are not mandatory, but are recommended.
If you are joining the group for the post-ride social, bring a lock. Carry a credit card, cell phone and a little cash to buy refreshments. Obey traffic laws and remember you’re a representative of the greater cycling community and should conduct yourself that way on the road. Please represent us well.
