Kelly Point Park- Easy-paced 25.8 miles around N/NE PDX.

The ride : This ride is my favorite night ride.

I expect a pace of somewhere in the 13mph-15mph vicinity. Pretty comfortable for most folks. We will ride 25.8 miles very casually around N/NE PDX. Very social, great for folks that haven't ridden with us before. Nobody gets dropped, ever.

This route always fills up and people are always on a wait list. Please if you can't make it RSVP to no and the day of the ride if you can't make it, please give riders that are on the wait list, enough time to get on the ride., Thanks.

Most of this ride will be before sunset. We may finish in the dark! Working lights are mandatory.

Weather Policy: Cancellations will be posted 2 hours before ride time.

CELL PHONE: Never go on a ride without one.

No Earbuds Please.

The Route:  Change up in route.

http://ridewithgps.com/routes/4940394

Start Location - Ride will start at HUB (Hopworks Bike Bar) on Williams, post-ride social there.

Pace 13-15mph

Distance 25.8 miles

This should take 2.5 hours

Attitude Social – nobody gets dropped, we regroup at every turn

Traffic Low with bike paths and bike lanes mostly

Start Time – wheels rolling at 6pm – 5.45pm meet & greet – Call Patricia, if running late[masked]-0765. We always leave on time, but will wait a minute or 2 if you've called to say that you're that close.

Ride leader contact information – Cell is[masked] or email Patricia at [masked]

Rider requirements - Working lights are mandatory. Helmets must be worn at all times while riding. This is a requirement and not a request. Always bring plenty of water, snacks for energy, a flat repair kit, including a spare tube. A tool kit and small pump is good, but if you don’t have one there is usually someone on a group ride who does (but don’t count on it).

If you are joining the group for the post-ride social, bring a lock. Carry a credit card, cell phone and a little cash to buy refreshments. Obey traffic laws and remember you’re a representative of the greater cycling community and should conduct yourself that way on the road. Please represent us well.

Note: Your RSVP signifies that you agree to the following. Organizers, event hosts and other participants will not be held responsible for any individual at any event. Each rider rides at their own risk and is solely responsible for any damage to their equipment or themselves.

Final Note: RSVP’s cannot include a +1 or Guest. If you choose to bring a friend or family member, they themselves must sign up as a member of NumBumz.

First I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you for the help you give on these rides. Not only does it make my job easier but what everybody does for these rides keeps everybody safe. The teamwork I find is incredible, to each and everyone who step up and help w/o being asked, Thanks again. Welcome to all of the new riders last night, what a pleasure to ride with you and introduce you to the funky bridge, which I was introduced to last year, by my friend and one of the co-founders of NumBunz, JC. So sorry we had another bike issue, that's 3 now, the spell has been broken, no more bad luck. The social at Hub is so much fun and of course the food there and the happy hour starting at 9 is pretty incredible too. What a pleasure to have Ed step up to lead another group out and all of us coming together for the social afterward, Thanks Ed.

That's right. Give me your poor, tired, huddled, wait-listed cyclists, yearning to pedal free and I will lift my Nite-Rider 650 by the Pub door.

This is for the riders who haven't done this ride, we meet in the back of the building not the front.

I noticed since Ed is doing the same ride only 15 min. Later, some of you are double booking. Please decide which ride you want to be on, Thanks. Ed is trying to help out to get people off my wait list so they can ride too. Thanks Ed.
