ESCONDIDO, CA ? The Thai Temple Escondido will be the location of a fun, free event for cutural enthusiasts and family members of all ages on Sunday, April 25th from10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Songkran Festival 2010 will feature delicious Thai Food, Thai Classical Dance, Thai Fruit Carving, Thai Traditional Custom Water Blessing, Live Music, Friendly People, Thai Traditional Games, Raffle & Prizes, and much more.
Thai Temple Escondido is located at 139 West 11th Avenue, Escondido, California, just 1.5 miles east of Interstate 15.
Over the past few years the Songkran Festival Thai New Year Celebration has entertained hundreds of visitors. This year, event organizers are working hard to make the even more exciting and colorful.

About Songkran Thai New Year Celebrations ? Happiness on Earths
Thailand's most celebrated festival is the Songkran Festival. It starts April 13 and lasts between 3 and 10 days, depending on where you are in Thailand. The word Songkran is from the Sanskrit meaning the beginning of a new Solar Year, but nowadays Thailand celebrates the New Year on December 31st.
