WOW is changing its Wednesday night format to alternating track and tempo runs.
The current plan is to use the track at Las Lomas High for strength and flexibility training along with a fitness walk or tempo run as an alternative to track, every other week.
Track workouts will be coached by award winning WOW Team Coach Stephanie Atwood.
Tempo runs will be led by WOW Team Mentors.
We will use this opportunity to improve speed for the experienced runners and practice mid-distance pacing and technique for novice and less experienced runners, walkers, or run/walkers.
Please RSVP whether you are a paid member or a drop-in. This will help us get a head count. Our Wednesday night workouts are $10 for drop-ins who RSVP in advance and $15 on site. The best deal is to join WOW with an ongoing subscription. Subscribing members have access to Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday workouts with no extra fees.
