Distributed, Versioned, Image-oriented Datastore

Join us and Bill Katz to discuss the DVID project (https://github.com/janelia-flyem/dvid). DVID is an Image Oriented datastore accessible by command line and through an HTTP interface. Bill will show us an eye-catching demo of real-time neural tissue image processing (yes, slicing through brains with Go).

Bill Katz gave a mind-blowing demo of using Golang for a incredible 3-D neural modeling project he's developing - brilliant!

Great presentation! Your work is a very cool combination of Science, Big Data, Visualization, and Golang. If you haven’t already, have you thought about presenting the first part at the Data Visualization DC group?

Thanks for the kind words. Haven't thought about presenting at Data Viz DC, but might do it once I have my systems further along.
