Spring has sprung, D/FW Gophers. Time to consider a May/Jun Meetup. All ideas solicited. I'm thinking of 2 topics (amongst many).

First topic would be a summary of the golang conference in Denver, which I'm about 75% sure I can attend. The second topic would be a more technical discussion of theastounding performance go achieved one a famous messaging benchmark, namely the ring thread benchmarlk: http://benchmarksgame...­

Any ideas for a May/Jun go lang meetup are appreciated.

I'd be interested to see how folks have used Go to solve problems and how software that was written in Go has held up over time (maintainability, caveats, etc).

Another topic(s) could include how Go can scale - setting up & utilizing RPC, issues that arise, using something like einhorn (­, etc. I was watching this excellent presentation from a while back where some of these topics were brought up but it was rushed since it was towards the end:­
