SF and the Peninsula with Murphy’s MOB
Saturday April 26, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Dan and Joan Murphy
The shoreline and open waters of San Francisco and the Peninsula are among the richest bird habitats on San Francisco Bay. Join Murphy’s MOB (Multiple OBservers) to take advantage of the beginning of shorebird migration, as we pick up many migrants. During each of the past two Birdathons, we’ve seen over 100 species! Last year, Murphy’s MOB won the Birdathon prize for most species sighted in six to 24 hours.
Have you done this trip with Dan and Joan in past years? Join us again for another fun day of birding adventure, and this time bring a friend!
Logistics: We’ll start at the Presidio and drive to various birding spots south along the peninsula, perhaps as far as Palo Alto. Participants will be contacted with meeting place and other details. Limited to 25 participants.
Fundraising/donation minimum: $25. But can you aim to raise $250?
