Steve Johnson returns to share at the 7:15 p.m. October 28 General Meeting what he discovered about MS Office 2013, as he prepared for his newest book on the subject. He’ll walk us through what’s new in Office 2013 and whether Microsoft has changed or eliminated any features found in earlier versions. (When 2010 came out, a couple of our members were grousing about missing features they’d liked.) He’ll cover what’s best, interesting, and perhaps lackluster in 2013’s new features. Steve will also answer questions regarding Office 2013 and how it works with Windows 8 and touch screens, whether you can use Windows 7 and what’s the difference, and what’s available online with Office365, SkyDrive, and SharePoint.
Steve has written more than 80 books about Mac and Windows PCs and an a variety of computer software including Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, InDesign and Illustrator, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2013, and SharePoint. In 1991, after working for Apple Computer and Microsoft, Steve founded Perspection, Inc., which produces software training.
