November’s General Meeting of the Golden Gate Computer Society features a panel of four iPad experts. Leading the panel as moderator, Jim Oser, co-leader of the GGCS Mac Interest Group, is a certified member of the Apple Consultants Network and owner of Oser Computer Solutions. He’ll be joined by:
- Karen Bell, member of North Coast Mac Users Group, Software Quality Assurance for Wind River, who is an iPad superuser with 100+ applications on her iPad, and she’ll discuss some of her favorites.
- Peggy Tatro, owner and director of Terra Linda Duplicate Bridge and a devoted Windows XP user, who received an iPad as a present, joins the group and will detail her trials and tribulations about coming from Windows and then using an iPad.
- iPad developer Mickey Mantle, founder and CEO of Marin-based-but-soon-to-be-internationally-famous Wanderful Interactive Storybooks, will share stories (about Steve Jobs and other notables) and will show a few iPad applications. See http://wanderfulstorybooks.com for a sneak preview. He was formerly VP Engineering/CTO of Marin-based Broderbund Software. Mickey also worked at Pixar.
