Hi everyone.

Just a heads up that to make carpooling easier at future GG Hikers events, I am experimenting with using the website Rideshare.us (http://www.rideshare.us/) to arrange carpooling.

To avoid the usual mass of offers and requests for carpooling in the comments thread (and everyone getting spammed), go to the event page (linked to from the meetup page for the event) and register a 'ride ad' if you are driving and want carpoolers, search existing 'ads' if you want a ride.

We'll see how this goes for our next hike (at Briones Regional Park, on the 20th), and if its a success we will use this at subsequent hikes.
