We are setting up this group to see if there are other fun couples out there in their 20's and 30's that love golfing. (A meet-up group for couples over 40 and senior couples that love to play is probably a good idea, but not the intention here.) This is for the young folks! We both try to play once every weekend and know that golfing with other young couples that we can relate to makes the 4 to 5+hr round a lot more fun! If you play golf, you know that most times you get stuck with someone (or two) you have little in common with besides golf. And for the girl, it's a lot less intimidating and more fun to play with another girl from the same tee box. It may sometimes be interesting to meet random new people on the golf course but we think it's a lot more fun to meet other couples with similar interests and perhaps become regular golfing friends and hang-out off the course as well! This could be a great way for young couples from all parts of LA that like golfing to meet other similar couples in their area and make new friends!
