TCRE 4th Annual Night of the Races Fundraiser

I am with the non-profit group Twin Cities Robert Emmets Hurling club. Our 4th annual night of the races fundraiser is 6PM Saturday March 23, 2013 at Celtic Junction in St. Paul, MN. We need people to come to the event ($25 in advance; $30 at the door):

We are looking for: one beer sponsor to donate beer for 100 people; one wine sponsor to donate wine for 100 people; five race sponsors ($250); one event sponsor ($1,500); and/or donations for our Wall of Booze raffle, silent auction, and live auction. Sponsors will be featured on the event poster and all other event advertising. Race sponsors are noted by the MC and in the event program for the race they are sponsoring. Donors will list on the event program. Should a company donate or sponsor the company is welcome to provide promotional materials, such as business cards or brochures, to display at the event.

More about the event:
Night of the Races, is Saturday March 23, 2013 at Celtic Junction in St. Paul, MN. We are expecting over one-hundred people. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. A ticket includes dinner provided by a sponsor and $500 “funny-money.” The event also includes five horse races with one sponsor each, a silent auction with items provided by donors, a live auction with “funny-money” with items provided by donors, a wall-of-booze raffle, best hat competition, and a cash bar stocked with beer from a beer sponsor, liquor from the liquor sponsor, and wine from the wine sponsor. All proceeds go directly to the Twin Cities Robert Emmets (TCRE) Hurling Club.

The Twin Cities Robert Emmets Hurling Club is organized to promote and develop the amateur sport of hurling in the Twin Cities and Minnesota; provide education and training to both children and adults regarding hurling skills and the history of the game; educate the public about Irish culture; promote culture awareness in Minnesota; and foster a sense of community among members.

The Twin Cities Robert Emmets Hurling Club is a 501 (c) (3) public charity and all donations are tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt should you decide to donate.
