Food Packaging at Second Harvest Heartland*

This was pushed back and hour to allow people to get to the event.  Please make sure you're there at 6, not 5 pm

We will be packaging bulk food items (pasta, rice, etc.) into smaller packages that will be sent to Second Harvest's distribution centers in the metro area. This is a two-hour commitment from 6:00-8:00 PM on a Wednesday in Minneapolis. Please make sure you wear close toe shoes, no sandals!! Think about going out for dinner or a pop afterwards to socialize with other members. I went out to their Flickr site but didn't see any pictures from our shift. They had photos from today's shifts, though. : (

Must have been an oversight on their part. No biggie. :-)

Anyone interested in carpooling? I'm in the South Minneapolis area. I'm a biker, so could bike to you to catch a ride. I could also drive, if need be.

I'd be up for that, I'll be coming from Bloomington and could swing by your area on my way.

There's a possibility I will be coming straight from work, so since I don't know, I'll just drive myself. Thanks, though!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
