Ebenezer Park Apartments Dining

Ebenezer Park Apartments is a community for relatively independent seniors. Each Sunday, the residents have an opportunity to dine in a nice setting. They are welcome to invite guests to dine with them as well. We'll help with the food and serving the seniors, as well as clean-up. Plan on being there from 11:45 to 1:30. This is a relaxed paced venue so if you are looking for something fast paced you may be disappointed. It's nice to chat with and get to know the seniors especially if this becomes a regular commitment.

Go to the "Files" section for two documents?a map as well as volunteer guidelines. Be careful that you have the right address as there are several buildings in the area named "Ebenezer" something. The map does not show the parking lot that is available to us. It's a small lot (only about 6 or 8 spaces) at the corner of 27th and Oakland, which is in back of the building. You can recognize it by the dumpsters in the lot. Ring the bell and the cook will let you in.

Since this event calls for only 3 volunteers, it is VERY important that volunteers show up if they RSVP that they are attending.

This event usually ends between 1-1:30. The Midtown Market is just around the corner so we could always go out to lunch after we are done. If you have not been to The Market, it's quite a treat.

I really enjoyed the experience, especially chatting with the residents. They were all very nice and thanked us for helping. I'm looking forward to doing it again next month, now that I know the ropes.

I'm so glad that a spot opened up so I can participate in this volunteer event.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
