This is a 2 hour event from 6:30 to 8:30 pm This is a warehouse position so please wear sturdy close toe shoes. Also it might get a little dusty in some parts of the warehouse. Volunteer in Minnesota and touch people across the globe! Volunteers will prepare and load boxes of medical supplies to be shipped to third world countries. Even though this is a Luthern based organization, they want volunteers from all backgrounds to help in the warehouse. Since this is a warehouse, please wear appropriate clothing which means no sandals or open toed shoes. What is Global Health Ministries? We are an instrument through which your love and compassion are channeled for the health and hope of God's children around the world! GHM is: A response to the Good News of Jesus, the "Great Physician" Sharing our abundant resources to impact the lives of disadvantaged children and adults in other parts of the world Direct involvement by individuals and congregations in Christ's healing ministry "Helping the Hands that Heal" Mission Statement "Global Health Ministries continues the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by enhancing health care programs of Lutheran churches in other countries." We do this by: Funding approved health care projects, scholarships, support for charity patients, capital improvements, development of appropriate technology, and more; Gathering and shipping useful donated health care equipment and supplies as requested by Lutheran health care programs; Communicating to groups and congregations the opportunities and needs of the church's overseas health care programs; Praying for the church's health care missionaries and those they serve; Recruiting nurses, dentists, doctors, surgeons, and allied workers for overseas service in training and consultation missions; Advising synods and other groups on health care mission issues out of the rich reservoir of knowledge and experience of GHM supporters. Your financial contributions help cover the cost of: Facilities for patient care Mosquito netting to protect a family from malaria Monthly subsidy for a remote clinic Drilling a village well Training cost for nurses, technicians and other health care personnel Combating the spread of HIV/AIDS and supporting those already affected Sending a sea container of donated medical supplies

So when we get there any tips on where to park and what part of the building we go into? I've had my fair share of warehouse jobs and every place is different. Some signage is good but from experience things are scarce as far as signage and where to go (as far as entrance)?
