Volunteer for the IMDA's 32nd Annual St Patrick's day celebration

The IMDA needs volunteers help to take admissions, put wrist bands on people coming in, and monitoring entrances.   This is the IMDA's 32nd year of celebrating St. Patty's day and this is a fun event. You'll get to see famous Irish dances and listen to some great Irish music.

Fun event. At my station I was able to watch and listen to performers when I wasn't checking wristbands, fielding general questions, and stopping those with alcohol beyond my check point. Will definitely sign up next year.

It was a packed event. I worked 4 hours straight and didn't have time to do anything other than attend to the admissions as people streamed in. The table was just behind the entrance so there was constant cold air coming. Someone brought us blankets and that helped. I'm looking forward to the party in April.

Great, I met some very nice people including the coordinator Doug. It was fun to be in the middle of the celebration and appreciate St. Patrick's Day in other ways than drinking. :)

A change in my rehearsal schedule means I won't be able to make it. Hopefully someone else will welcome the opportunity to jump in!
