Help prep, serve, and cleanup for the brunch meal at House of Charity. This is a three-hour commitment from 9:00 to noon. The House of Charity has helped homeless and inner-city poor in Minneapolis for more than 50 years.

There's a parking lot next to HOC that is $1 on Sundays if there is no sporting event. If you park on the street you will probably need about $3 in quarters for the meters.

HOC would like us to remind you that this is a kitchen environment therefore closed toed shoes are required.

All: no one showed up today. When you sign up and take a spot, it means someone else may not be able to sign up. HOC relies on us to fill in the volunteer needs. Please only sign up in the future if you will attend.

My daughter informed us after her choir practice tonight that she is singing in church on Sunday. Guess I can't skip church this week after all. Thanks for adding me to the event, but I'm going to have to drop unfortunately.

The RSVP settings were weird, so they've been corrected to close 3 days before the event. I've signed you up for this as there is room for more.

looks like we at times have more volunteers than we have places to go. more options are needed.

Last time I'd checked this was booked solid. It looks like a spot opened up since, but RSVP's are now closed. I'd still love to volunteer. Let me know if you can use me.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
