I stumbled across ArtKitchen, at the end of leafy rue Tresor in the Marais, and thought the intimate space would be a great way to welcome GFGWGFGT back from the August holiday. The look and feel is reminded me of the table d'hote I experienced in a week ago in Avignon - if you had removed the hearth and installed a gleaming stainless steel convection oven, I mean.
As it turned out, the analogy was particulary apt. ArtKitchen, it seems, is a showroom for high-end kitchenware when it isn't an actual table d'hote for chef Lise Remy Wednesday through Saturday. And if you like, you can also hire the space for that dinner party for 12 that just won't work in your Paris apartment.
We will take the 3 course menu for 36 euro, plus wine.
