Dinner on rue Paul Bert

Rentree dinner part 2! One table for 8 at Le 6 rue Paul Bert, where we will try out their menu fixe at 42e for four courses (excluding wine). David Leibovitz says, " Le 6 Paul Bert is really an exceptional restaurant, with food better than that I’ve had at three-star restaurants, at everyday prices".

Let's see if we agree!

seems to me that there is a need for at least a second group of diners

Donal, we deliberately keep our dinners to 8 or 10 people in order to make it feel like it is dinner amongst a group of friends - it is the same idea in ensuring that there are one or two new members at every dinner. We appreciate there are lots of dinner groups out there that cater to larger groups, but the type of restaurants we generally tend to be interested in trying out do not cater to multiple tables of 10 even if we did want to do a larger type dinner (to be honest, convincing some of the smaller ones to take a group booking for 8 without deposits taken etc can be quite a task!).

It is great to see so much interest for our rentrée dinners - thank you very much everyone for your enthusiasm! We look forward to meeting new friends Farice and Pauline this time :-). Antoine, Jean-m, Whit, Donal, Nat, Smaja, Lynn, Julia, Nyasha and Ganit, we hope to see you at a dinner soon and bien sûr if we have a cancellation last minute, we will be in touch to see if one of you might still be free!

For those attending the dinner - please bear in mind it is a 19 30 seating this time (not 20h as usual).
    See you there!

2 attending, 10 waiting? this is weird!

Hi small apple, in order to get a good mix of existing and new members, we choose a table from the waitlist. That is why only the organisers/member who suggested the restaurant, are marked as "going" for the moment. Hope to see you at a dinner soon!
