A Ceviche feast:-)

Dear Friends,

For our next dinner I have chosen a place specialised in (as its name clearly reveals) Ceviche! It's a relatively new place in the 2nd Arrondissement opened in July, and they have collected some good reviews, so I thought it would be worth trying it out! I am a big fan of ceviche and they prepare it in an original way, they have a meet ceviche as well;-) It is always raw though, marinated in a delicious sauce. So if you prefer cooked meals you probably will not appreciate it that much.

The menu changes every day (depending on the availability of fish, veggies and fruit) so it is guaranteed to be fresh. I am attaching the menu they had yesterday so that you know what you might expect.

It will NOT be a traditional dinner (a starter, a main and a dessert) but more of a tapas experience. Subject to the menu of the day and our appetite I think we will take 2 or 3 portions of ceviche per person, some side dishes to share, + desserts and wine of course:-)

I reserved a table for 8 persons. As usual our wait list does not operate on a first come first serve basis. We aim to bring together both new(ish) members with some of the more established members.  We find this formula works best to ensure we all enjoy ourselves and have a chance to not only get to meet new people, but also get to know people better.

See you next week

Could you explain to me why there are only 2 people who can say yes to this dinner and the rest on the waiting list ?

In our group the wait list does not operate on a first come first serve basis. We aim to bring together both new(ish) members with some of the more established members. We find this formula works best to ensure we all enjoy ourselves and have a chance to not only get to meet new people, but also get to know people better. Dee and myself organise this dinner hence we are already on the confirmed list

Would love to attend! Especially since i make a mean ceviche myself ;) Their recipes are very interesting and the perfect opportunity to sit there and figure out their influences. Alas, I have a concert Tuesday night :( Enjoy, everyone!
