Two places I like - one is Le Mauzac in the 5th - they do a truly excellent risotto with scallops and fresh asparagus with a very good 2008 Chablis. It's always busy and the staff have got that really HTF blend of service and laidbackness. The other is Le Domaine Qui Monte Bld Voltaire 11th - there is a very limited menu but the great thing is you chose the wine from the shelf ( they sell wine from small producers) and drink it with your lunch - so you can be having a very nice Chambertin for 50 euros which in a restaurant would be 200 euros+ Only open at lunch

I am spending too much time in my office and want to go back to the things I love - good food and wine (especially white burgundy). Always on the look out for new good places to visit and try the "fare" and meet up with interesting people.
Only suggestion is perhaps to have a list of mobile numbers for people on the waiting list if there are last minute cancellations - I am looking forward to an evening event.
