I like "Le Hide" in the 17th. Been there several times, never disappointed. Also very affordable for the location and the quality. There is a mix of French traditional and French modern cuisine with sometimes a twist of Asian (The chef is from Japan). My best in a "reasonable" price range is l'Arome- 1 starred Michelin- been there twice, twice perfect! all what you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. If the dinner prices are too high for your budget, I would recommend lunch for a treat. On a totally different note, I have recently discovered Madame est servie in the 11th. 13euros the set 2 courses at lunch time and 19/20euros for a main in the evening. This is near my place and it will become my second "canteen" when my preferred lunch place Paris-Hanoi is too crowded or when I went a more relaxed experience at lunch time. And... as important as the food, they are extremely nice people!

French citizen I have lived between Ireland,Scotland and England for over 10 years. I love nice food but preferably balanced and healthy (ish)! I usually go to restaurants several times a week and like trying new places.
