There were no complaints and we practically had the river to ourselves. Watermelon Jello shots were a big hit. Let me know next time we do it and I'll do it on a Saturday for us at the end of the summer.

I'll be a maybe for tomorrow. Also food for thought, one of the girls from my friends tied the tubes of our group with a rope in case someone passed out from drinking falls into water, or someone who doesn't know how to swim, or someone catches strange water current last year. That way someone can help if things go bad, not a bad idea at all! !

    1 · July 5

    • Greg

I have some rope to tie up with icechests and others that need to tether to the master tuber.

      1 · July 5

    • TheRaj

Chris: I guess what you are saying is people should just quit instead being smart and using life vest because that's how you get better at anything. Also, I guess people don't pass out when they drink, and I guess strange water currents and undertoes doesn't exist LOL. My bad, I'm in kinda smart Alec mode ;-)

Greg there will be some drunk friends on the river tomorrow ha ha ha.

    2. Keys.... Don't lose your keys! YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE YOUR KEYS.

___A lot of folks hide their keys under their cars... If I bring my keys I will detach my car key from my key ring and leave all those keys in the car. I will put my car key in a ziplock bag and blow it up before sealing it so it will float just in case. Then I will put that in a small Tupperware of some sort and then put that in the bottom of my icechest. 3. Sunscreen, Bring it!
    4. Hat
    5. Sunglasses
    6. Flipflops

    5. Some folks like to horse play and some don't. Horse play is the number one cause of...
    a. spilt drinks
    b. lost keys
    c. tipped ice chests

Also, bottles of water....it's that clear liquid you guys keep accusing bartenders of putting in your drinks.

      2 · July 4

  • Greg

I've been asked a few questions and wanted to help everyone out with a few tips.

    1. Ice Chest. Bring a personal ice chest filled with your favorite drinks and snacks. They sell ice there if you need it.

__You will want to get a float or bring something that will allow your icechest to float. Bring a piece of small rope so you can tie it to your tube and keep your goodies close by.

__No glass! They will search everyone's ice chest before boarding the bus and they will dig looking for the glass, no exceptions.

__I will usually premix my drinks and use a cup as I float down the river, which I will spill several times, so I'll bring a lid this time.

__Snacks, I usually make some chicken-lettuce wraps and Peanut Butter wraps, wrap them in saran-wrap, put that in a ziplock bag, and then Tupperware.

I've already requested this day off to attend this event. So what's the new date?

    June 18

    • Greg

Same Date Same Time. I will coordinate meetup for everyone. I will post some more info as we get closer to the date.

    • Chris

Sounds good..who bringing the jello shots? Haha

      2 · June 18

  • Greg

Glad to help out and coordinate a bit. I think Rob had a great Idea last time we went and we all met up and ate a little bit in our own picnic. It gave everyone enough time to buy the tickets and arrive so we could board the bus as a group. Let me know if you have any questions. Be ready to have a blast!

We may be going to the beach for July 4th, but I am keeping it a "yes" for now. Thanks.

Would a kayak be out of place on the river?

    1 · April 17

    • Rob H.

They won't allow kayaks at tikitubing

      April 17

    • Greg

John. They rent Kayaks and they might even bring it to the river for you. Ask before we go. However I might just suggest it's much more fun in a tube. I used a kayak and it was not as fun as the tube. Too much work to drink, eat, drink, splash the ladies, drink Mo.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
