Price: $30.00/per person
Are you interested in learning how to feed yourself and your family with food that is exceptionally nutrient rich, delicious, and FREE? In these uncertain times, living as a society that relies on a completely artificial system (even for our most basic needs) with foundations that are shakier than ever before... connecting with the real, natural world we live in is deeply empowering and comforting.
Experience the peaceful, joyful meditation of acquiring your food while walking on the earth, the wind delighting your skin and the sun warming your body, fresh air filling your lungs, harvesting living plants that are so much fresher than anything at the store. Truly know where your food comes from!
11:00 am - Arrive, park, breathe in the fresh air, sign in for the class.
11:30 am - Farm Store tour with Paul, and brief talk about how he started his farm and news on upcoming plans for building an earth-home community on his land.
12:00 sharp! Wild Food Walk begins! Courtney will lead the walk and identify what's growing wild that is good to eat (and what to avoid), and harvest goodies as we go. Paul will give a Farm Tour as we graze on both wild edibles and what's growing in his gardens.
1:00 pm - Now that we've gathered wild edibles, what yumminess can we create with them? Courtney will demonstrate and serve samples of nutritious and delicious concoctions.
2:00 pm - Finish up; make purchases from the Farm Store of fresh, organic veggies that are in season and things Paul has preserved for the winter.
Everyone who attends will receive recipes and ideas for feeding yourself and your family off the land. Children are welcome to attend (8 and under at no cost); please ask about family pricing.

What to bring:
Wear comfortable walking shoes or boots, and dress in layers. Bring a canvas bag to collect edibles as we walk, and your own bowl and utensils to enjoy a wild green salad we will create from our bounty. $30 cash or check (made to "Good Earth Organic Farm") for the class. A camera if you'd like to photo the edibles we discover!
PLEASE RSVP SOON SO WE HAVE AN IDEA OF HOW MANY ARE COMING FOR PARKING PURPOSES.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
