Good Reads and Good Eats Meetup

  • May 6, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

We will be reading Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void by Mary Roach.

We meet at a local restaurant and discuss a book that we have chosen through a poll posted on this website.

If you learn you cannot attend after you've RSVPed "yes," please change your RSVP to "no" so that someone on the waiting list is allowed to attend.

Please don't hesitate to come for the first time or bring a friend - we are all new to this book club and we would love to see you! We will be the group of people with books in front of us!

E-mail Sam ( [masked] ) or Jen ( [masked] ) with any questions or ideas for the format of the book club. Please also e-mail book and/or restaurant recommendations.

It was like floating in space.

    Then.

    Suddenly!

A meteor shower riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiips through your space craft leaving you feeling hopeless and lost!

    Then I drank some beer.

And it was all good again.

Angela, I don't know that anyone is coming from Earlysville. South Street is just right downtown, near the parking lot where the Farmer's Market is every Saturday. Very close to the parking garage on Water Street. Does that ring any bells? Or do you have a GPS or an app on your phone you could use to find your way?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
