Designing for Google Glass

  • August 14, 2013 · 7:00 PM

Did you know looking at a Google Glass screen is the equivalent of viewing a 25" high definition screen from 8-feet away? Learn best practices of designing for a screen resolution at 640x360 pixels + walk away with the experience of designing a card for Glass.

Development experience is not required and what better place to learn how to design for a wearable device than at an awesome design studio?

Hi everyone, I too am a Glass Explorer and have a pair of the coveted Glass. I'd like to come by the next session and meet folks interested in building some cool apps for the glass. I'm an MBA student at GW representing the MBA Association and working along side the Center for Entrepreneurship Excellence. Check us out here: www.gwmbaa.org/projectglass
    Thanks,

Is anyone planning on selling there Google Glasses in the need future or should I wait until Google sales them at retail?

    July 18, 2013

    • Monique

It's against our T&Cs to sell our glasses and they are tied to our Google account. You'll likely have to wait for them to go on sale to the public in early 2014.

Im pretty sure my wife Lindsay, the real Glass Explorer, will want to attend too.

I'm a Glass Explorer and would love to attend to meet other Explorers in DC but I have a feeling that much of the conversation would be Greek to me as I'm not a developer!
