Every year since moving to Atlanta, I've hosted a dinner for friends on St. Patty's weekend, and it's always at the least Irish place possible, Watershed in Decatur. Unfortunately, Watershed has moved to Midtown, and the location is challenging for parking and such.
Instead, we found a wonderful substitute, a highly-rated Southern restaurant in the Decatur area called Sprig Restaurant. Last year was our first year with Sprig, and they were very accommodating with our larger group.
Here's what the description has to say about it:
"We are a locally owned farm to table restaurant specializing in southern comfort food and utilizing locally owned farms, wineries and breweries when ever possible. We also have over 60 bottles of wine which 30 are offered by the glass"
Check out the website/menu at www.sprigrestaurant.com
Afterwards, we'll probably head on over to Decatur Square and look for fun and adventure. :) You don't want to miss fun and adventure, do you?
Space is limited, so please only RSVP if you can make it, for sure! Hope to see you all there!:)
