34th Annual Collingswood May Fair

General Information:
Collingswood, New Jersey will be bursting with art, music and activities for all ages on Saturday, May 25, 2013 as Collingswood Partners hosts the 34th Annual May Fair. What began in 1979 as a small “clothesline art exhibit” now encompasses more than a mile of the business district along Haddon Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

An estimated 50,000 people attended the 2012 event which was expanded to include more blocks and attractions and we expect this year to be even bigger. 200+ artists and crafters will display and sell their unique creations in a juried show. There will be everything from pulled pork to funnel cake! May Fair also welcomes the return of the renowned Collingswood Farmers Market offering “Jersey Fresh” produce and florals sold in a delightful open air atmosphere.

Parking is available in the PATCO lots and on side streets. Haddon Avenue will be closed to traffic beginning at 6 am.  PATCO is a great way to come to May Fair; the Collingswood station is a block from the action!

This is not going to be a strictly hosted event. I will be arriving closer to 1 PM and am driving to a PATCO station. I can wait at the station in Collingswood until 1:30 for anyone who wants to meet. I will be at stage #1 at 2:45 - 4:30 to hear the band.

HEADS UP : i used to live around there.collingswood is murderous for parking and since haddon ave. (which is the main place to park)is blocked off for the booths and stages there are even less places. i got there around 11AM for this last year and i parked about 6 blocks away. the speedline lot was full. the north side streets are blocked off during this event so you can't sneak in and park in the library lot. probably gets harder as day goes on.thats why TAKE PATCO is good option

Super fun. Went last year and had a blast. I'll be there again this year BUT I'll be parking at either Westfield or Haddonfield and taking the PATCO up. Definitely not an easy time to park around there :)
