The Chemical Heritage Foundation gives a talk on Ciders. Varieties from around the world will be on offer to taste.
Please note, samples are limited and will be provided to guests who are 21+ as long as supplies last!
Once this event is done, some of us plan to head over to an art gallery opening event for one of our group members (Gina C.) who will be exhibiting her neuroscience related paintings among others. That will be at Artist House Gallery (57 N 2nd St).
Once the talk starts at 5:30, it will be difficult to find our group, so try to head there a bit early. The CHF staff managing the event are familiar with our meetup group, so if you ask them, they may be able to lead you to us.
In honor of Philly Beer Week, CHF welcomes Michael McCaulley, wine director of Tria, to talk about what he considers the perfect beverage: cider! Join us as McCaulley explain the cider-making process and its growing popularity in recent years. We will offer cider varieties from around the world to taste.
In addition, visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to visit our new exhibit, Suited for Space, and handle objects from our new teaching collection.
