Animus playing at the summer series finale for "music in the courtyard" at the Archaeology museum. This will be an exciting fusion of ancient and modern music with traditional elements of Greek, Rock, Middle Eastern, Blues, Indian, Jazz, and African music. Plus Belly Dancers (maybe). Pic from last years event below. Those who came to the Svitanya concert may remember Kim, who is also in this group.

Free for Museum members, PennCard holders & PennHealth System employees.

$10 ticket for all others, which includes full museum admission as well with all galleries being open till 8. Get one on one time with the mummies. The ticket price can also count towards membership if you join that day.

They also sell beer/wine/refreshments and overall a great ambiance. All cash.

Concert starts at 5pm, but setting meetup start time at 5:30. Feel free to come early. I will try to get there by 5pm as well

If it rains, the concert moves indoors.

The last of the summer concerts at archaeology museum. And we got a tour of lower Egypt. Great weather was a plus. Good to see all who made it.

I was hoping to make it, but my back isn't cooperating. :( Glad the weather is better than yesterday for everyone who will attend. Hope to meet you at a future meetup.

Wearing a bluish green shirt and black pants. If I find a free table/bench, will put a meetup sign. I should make it by 5:30. A couple of you have messaged that you will be there earlier. If you can, please hold a table or two.
The tables/benches are mostly to the right of the stage and are a great place to chat and listen to the concert.
They also setup rows of chairs in front of the stage for those who just want to listen (serious concert goers :-). If you do decide to sit near the stage, do stop by and say hi if you see us!

Reminder that this event is tomorrow and ticketed. Tickets need to be purchased at gate. Free for members and PennCard/PennHealth holders.
Do come early if you can, to check out the museum. Weather's going to be in the 80s, so come prepared. Refreshments also available for purchase within museum. Will provide an update tomorrow afternoon.

I heard Animus play at a belly dancing spectacular show at World Cafe Live last month, and they were phenomenal!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
