Welcome to Red Hot & Blue
Those pigs playing guitars behind those black sunglasses; their picture on the "pig wall" just jumps out at you when you go into a Red Hot & Blue Memphis Pit Bar-B-Que restaurant. Then it’s a full-scale assault on your senses. The air is so thick with the smell of hickory smoke and the sweet aroma of bar-b-que sauce that you practically taste the bar-b-que.
Red Hot & Blue replicates the old time flavors of the smoke shacks in Tennessee where you'd pick up your bar-b-que wrapped in a leftover potato chip bag (to keep the sauce from dripping on your car seat) and carry food home to eat.
Listen to the blues from 6 till 9 with my friends (sound familiar?), Scoville Blues!
The Scoville Blues Band is a high energy blues band based out of Bucks County PA and has been playing the Philadelphia Tri-State area for over 4 years. From contemporary blues rock to traditional Chicago and Texas styles to funky New Orleans blues the band has something for everybody.
In addition to playing many of the local bars and restaurants in the area the band has played the Riverfront Blues Festival, The Lehigh River Blues Jam, The State Street Blues Stroll, The Burlington Jazz & Blues Heritage Festival, The Valenzano Wine Festival, The Bensalem Fall Festival, The Kick Out The Winter Blues at the Natali Vineyards and The Olde Kings Blues Jam.
Other highlights include opening up for rock legend Dave Mason at The Scottish Rite Auditorium, opening for blues greats Walter Trout and Chris Cain and playing the 4th annual "Taste Of Philadelphia Festival" at Penns Landing, PA.
With scorching guitar, dynamic harmonica, passionate vocals and a driving rhythm section, Scoville Blues is a band you shouldn't miss.
See you then!
