How and when did you become an Atheist - Freethinker - Humanist?

Long time ago. I objected to the Pledge of Allegiance when "under god" was inserted during the Eisenhower administration. Would not say it.

Are you a high school or college student? If not, what is your profession?

My profession, was medical librarianship.

What is YOUR expertise or strength? That is, what are you passionate about (i.e. writer or speaker, computer tech etc.)?

Great photographer. I have served as a computer guru during the latter portion of my career in libraries. I am passionate about libraries. James Joyce's Ulysses. Also, William Faulkner novels. All around hero: Richard Feynman.

Introduction

I've been an atheist since I was a junior in high school. That was the year, the Eisenhower administration and congress thought "under god" was needed in the pledge of allegiance. My subsequent studies in philosophy helped me define/refine my views.
