Norma --

We’ve just learned that New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has filed a major case against JP Morgan/Bear Stearns regarding system-wide misconduct[1].  As the first case to come out of the Mortgage Working Group to investigate and prosecute the crimes leading to the economic meltdown, this is a significant milestone.
You helped us keep up the pressure to give investigators[2] what they needed to hold the Wall Street banks accountable – and our efforts are now starting to bear fruit. But we can’t stop until all of the perpetrators, not just JP Morgan, are brought to justice. That’s why we need you now.
Now that the Working Group has set out to sue JP Morgan, they need to investigate your bank as well.
We are partnering with the Home Defenders’ League and their work mobilizing homeowners in communities around the country.   We’re getting ready to launch on-the-ground actions against Big Bank headquarters and branches across the country.  We need your help finalizing which banks will be part of that first wave.
We have only gotten this far because of your commitment to holding Wall Street accountable.  We’ll only win when all the big banks know that illegally putting profits over people will cost them both.
Let’s keep fighting,
