Highlighted below:  (I saw the whole debate--taped it lst--so I could reverse & RE-hear if necessary.)  Don't you mean "Radditz" here? (for Martha Radditz, moderator of the debate for PBS.) Want to be accurate before I send on (somewhat belatedly) to others.  "Savage" is accurate in another sense:  IF Ryan had his way, what he & Romney would do to the  American women WOULD BE SAVAGE!!

Ryan:  I don’t see how a person can separate public life from private life.

Ryan:  I believe that life begins at conception.  That’s why those are the reasons (Catholic religion and Life at Conception) I am pro-life.

Ryan:  But the policy of a Romney administration will be to oppose abortion with the exception of rape, incest, and life of the mother.

Biden:  Life begins at conception, that’s the Church’s judgment.  I accept it in my personal life, but I refuse to impose it on equally devout Christians and Muslims, and Jews.  I just refuse to impose that on others, unlike my friend here the Congressman.  I do not believe that we have a right to tell other people, that women they can’t control their bodies.

Savage:  If the Romney, Ryan ticket is elected, should those who believe abortion should remain legal, be worried?

Ryan:  We don’t think that unelected judges should make this decision.  That people through their elected representatives and reaching a consensus in society for the democratic process should make this determination.

Biden:  (in)The Court, the next president will get 1 or 2 Supreme Court nominees.  That’s how close Roe v. Wade is.  Just ask yourself, with Robert Bourke being the chief advisor on the Court for for Mr. Romney.  Who do you think he is likely to appoint.  Do you think he likely to appoint someone like Scalia or someone else on the Court far right that would outlaw Planned Parenthood, excuse me, would outlaw abortion?  I suspect that would happen.  I guarantee you that will not happen (with us).
