     Look at this video and then consider that the civilization on display may, in some important respects, be equivalent to wandering tribes in the Sinai Peninsula more than 2,000 years ago. 
     In biblical times there were only a few million people in the world and folks were told to "be fruitful and multiply."  Now the Catholic church and others use references like this as an excuse to oppose birth control in a desperate world with eight billion people. Religions must learn to adjust to current knowledge in a more timely way.  --Dan
