RE: [atheists-36] Atheists Speechless. They Can't Explain This...

I am in the final stages of writing a paper on the lastest treatments in Pancreatic adenocarcinoma. My co authors are researchers that specialze in cancer biology. I can assure ytou that any claim of a miracle cure all for cancer heart disease arthritis and as I see it everything from that to jock itch is just the latest iteration of snake oil for what ails yer!

The complexity of cancer makes it not one disease but many diseases that cause a single effect in the body. The effect is a tumor but the cause is as varied as the places in the body it can ocurr.

The concept of "A cure for cancer" is as ludicrous as one size fits all clothing. Nice idea but impractical!

This claim is dangerous because someone might actually try it instead of engaging science!----
Stay well,

I waded through the presentation, which took approximately 30 minutes. Not only cancer, but relief from arthritis, dementia, Alzheimer's, and a few others is also assured. Also, how the pharmaceutical industry doesn't want you to know this stuff. Also, the healing powers of olive oil, but not in the form you will find in Publix.

The presentation also refers to p. 859 in the King James Bible. I could not find such a page in my digital copy. Can anyone post the page here? Meanwhile, I'll check a hard copy tomorrow in the library.

I'll ask my oncologist friend about this later in the week.

Thanks for posting.

OK, First there is no universal cure for cancer because cancer is not just one disease it is a complex plethora of diseases all of which manifest in runaway cellular mitosis and simultaneous mutation.

Secondly a naturopathic doctor is a fancy word for poorly educated quack!

Thirdly; without a peer reviewed double blind population based study any claim such as this is ridiculous and those studies take a decade or so to complete since cancer is based on 5 year survivals and at least two confirming studies need to be done to assure a correct conclusion. Therefore his claim that he just recently discovered the verses proves that he hasn't got a clue!

This is Psuedo Science at its worst! It insults natural medicine which has some relevance but must be tempered because it tends to "Miracle Cures" which are the most universal form of BS!

That this was a NewsMax publication is no suprise it is like the National Review publishing a piece on climate change. The last time they did it Michael Mann at Penn State sued them.

I wonder who will file suit on this particular pile of dung with Newsmax?

Dear Newsmax Reader:
Please find below a special message from our sponsoring advertiser, Health Revelations. They have important information to share with you. Thank you.

Dear Reader,

I'd love to see an atheist try to explain THIS.

It's a video about a recent discovery made by biblical researchers in Maryland. While investigating the so-called "Bible Code," they found something they never expected...

A healing message encoded in ancient scripture.

It appears to contain instructions for defeating some of our worst diseases... and it's all woven into the verses of the Bible.

Watch it here -- you may never look at the Bible the same way again.

To Healing Miracles,

Brian Chambers
Publisher, Health Revelations

P.S. This is America, and people are free to believe whatever they want. But I've yet to hear an atheist offer a real explanation for the "healing code" revealed in this video.
