Global Warming

Ninety seven percent of the world's qualified climate scientists state unequivocally that global warming is real and that humans are at least partly responsible for it. That has not always been the case but it is now, as the evidence has mounted. That's the way with scientists; they avoid making definite statements until they are sure. So what do we do now, bet the future on a few naysayers, many of whom are employed by oil and coal companies, or do we take action, as Americans have always been accustomed to doing, before it is too late to even mitigate the worst outcomes which will greet our children and grandchildren in what may be left of our civilization? Mother Nature does not have a heart; she doesn't care. Do you? --Dan
